Experience and Depth will Help the Lady Eagles Soar

Just one year ago, Head Coach Bill Krammess was looking for a way to win games with a team that leaned on five departed seniors. Despite a lack of varsity experience Lanesville amassed a 10-13 record and finished a solid third in the Southern Athletic Conference. Lady Mustangs

New Washington Expects More in 2008

A five year drought ended in New Washington. The Lady Mustangs brought home the first sectional hardware in several years and advanced to the regional finals, thrilling New Washington fans and reinvigorating the program. The team have their eyes set on higher goals this season and should surpass the 18-9 win loss record of a year ago. “I think last year really got us prepared and ready for this year” said senior point guard Kaelin Tuell. “It makes us want to push ourselves farther so we can go farther in the tournament”.  More...

Lady Rebels

South Central will Rely on Speed and Outside Shooting.

Coach Randall Schoen and his South Central girls basketball team have gotten used to winning. The Lady Rebels had won four straight sectional titles and a made a state finals appearance in 2006. The string of sectional titles was broken last year as their state title hopes were stymied by three points to conference rival New Washington. Despite the setback, South Central and All-Star candidate Brittany Schoen return as a threats to win the 2008 sectional and a lot more.  More...
